Lone Star ("the App") is a puzzle game developed by Alex Sehlke. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

The App does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not directly collect, transmit, or share any personal data. However, the App uses third-party advertising services that may collect certain information as described below.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device to support gameplay:

• Puzzle progress and completion status
• Game settings and preferences (e.g., sound, haptics)
• Statistics such as solve times, streaks, and hint usage

This data is stored using the device's local storage (UserDefaults) and is never transmitted to any server or third party. It remains entirely on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the App.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID / IDFA)
• IP address (used for approximate location and fraud prevention)
• General device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not have access to personally identifiable information collected by AdMob.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking — disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Network Access

All puzzles are bundled within the App and do not require an internet connection. However, the App connects to the internet to load and display advertisements via Google AdMob.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App uses Google AdMob which is configured to comply with applicable regulations. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
